Adult tickets are $20.00 at the door (cash or payment card)
Child tickets (ages 3-12) are $5.00.
Children 2 and under are FREE.
Join us for an evening of caliente salsa dancing, amazing guest artists, inspiring folklore performances, yummy comida Criolla, and enticing artisan wares.
Each Spring, the Puerto Rican Cultural Center Heritage Project explores new aspects of the island’s cultural roots and traditions. The theme for this year’s project is “Fiesta de Cuerdas: The Spanish Guitar & Her Grandsons.” Celebrando 2017 is the exciting culmination of this project.
- Orlando and Jaime Laureano (master musicians from Puerto Rico),
- flamenco dancer Illeana Gomez and guitarist Alejandro Pais Iriart of La Juerga Flamenco,
- flamenco singer Chayito Champion,
- Sandunga Dance from Dallas (youth salsa team)
This elegant, semi-formal event also features folklore performances by Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance, salsa dancing with Orquesta Trabuko, handcraft artisans, and comida criolla for sale by Chago’s Caribbean Cuisine.
The location features a ballroom atmosphere and wooden dance floor. Dress to impress and bring your dancing shoes!
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early! Have some dinner and visit vendor booths featuring original art, crafts, and other recuerdos that will let you take home a little piece of Puerto Rico to brighten your week. Performances begin at 7:00 pm.
