The Theatre at Reagan High School
7104 Berkman Dr, Austin TX, 78752

Ravaged by war and diseases brought to the Caribbean by the Europeans, the native Taíno people retreated into the mountains of Puerto Rico. Thus isolated, a few survived—eventually mingling and marrying with the Europeans, while striving to keep their heritage alive.

Join Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance in as we bring our primera raíz, Taínos of El Concilio Taíno Guatu-Ma-Cu a Borikén (www.conciliotainopr.org), direct from Puerto Rico, to share the stage and bring our community a life-changing, first-time experience in Taíno music and dance.

This all-live music and dance production will also debut Pelea de Gallos, a PRFDance original estampa, featuring surprise guest and gifted cuatrista, Orlando Laureano, direct from the Isla del Encanto.

Adult tickets are $15.00. Child tickets (ages 3-12) are $10.00. Lap children 2 and under are FREE. All seats are general admission.

NOTE: Online ticket sales are now closed. Tickets may be purchased at the door with cash or check. Tickets already purchased online will be available for pick-up at the "Will Call" window on the day of the show.

DIRECTIONS TO THEATRE: Take I-35 to US Hwy 290 East. Exit Hwy 290 at Berkman Dr. Turn left on Berkman and cross under the highway. The theatre is less than a block away on the left.
